TickerTabStored on your Mac
TickerTab stores your watchlist, pinned symbol, refresh interval and language preferences locally. The current app does not require an account and has no TickerTab-hosted watchlist sync.
Quotes need a connection
The app requests quotes and search results from Yahoo Finance. These requests include ticker symbols or search terms. The provider can receive typical network information, such as your IP address.
Some symbol icons are loaded from CoinCap or Financial Modeling Prep. These third parties handle data under their own policies. Storing preferences locally does not make the app fully offline.
Visiting this website
This website currently has no advertising trackers, analytics scripts, accounts or email subscription forms. When hosted on Cloudflare, the platform processes request information needed to serve and protect the site. Enabled runtime logs may also record technical request data.
Official download links may lead to an external release platform, whose own data handling practices then apply.
Managing and removing data
You can remove symbols in the app and change your preferences in Settings. Uninstalling may not remove every preference file retained by the system. For complete removal, also clear the corresponding local app data.

If accounts, sync or analytics are added later, this page should be updated alongside those features.
